We do a lot of GEO optimisation, though people call it many names—AI SEO, LLM SEO, GEO optimisation. We'll call it GEO optimisation because it’s simple, and we’ve done extensive testing. What strategies are working, and why should people focus on them?
James Dooley: I’m a big believer in omnipresence in lead generation. You need to show up everywhere your potential customer might be searching for your service—whether that’s ChatGPT, Gemini, or Google search. If a customer could search on an AI platform and see you in the overview, you should be optimising for LLMs. For anyone unfamiliar, LLMs are Large Language Models—the algorithms that generate AI answers. You want your brand to appear in these environments.
Kasra Dash: And while there’s overlap with SEO, AI optimisation has important differences. Google’s SEO still focuses heavily on PageRank. LLMs, on the other hand, prioritise the infinite loop of self-corroboration—consistent, repeated signals of trust, confidence, and entity strength. AI lead generation is about getting your brand into as many LLMs as possible.
James Dooley: Kasra, if someone wants more leads, wants to grow, and is searching for AI lead generation because they think AI is the answer—what would you say?
Kasra Dash: I actually made a video about this. SEO is changing. Before, you ranked in Google, Bing, maybe Ask Jeeves.
